Patrick Welch was a wonderful, kind, generous, creative friend who inspired a half-generation of animators at the Illinois Institute of Art Chicago to follow their own stars. Sadly, his died early on and so we said goodbye this October him but not to his legacy. I am attaching an interview Patrick did with Chicago Public Radio in September 2007, in which he is asked to talk about his brain- and heart-child, the Micromentalist movement.
